We are searching for a full time Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern with 2000 + for our Houston outpatient program. Ths position will require 2-3 evenings a week.

Our Houston location provides  substance use services to people ages 12 to 80+. We primarily serve Hispanic clients. 

Qualifications Include:

LCDC or LCDC-I in good standing Texas and previous experience counseling in the substance use field. Valid Texas Driver License and clear driving record (if working in a residential program). Drug screen and background check required.

Ability to professionally communicate, maintain calm in tense situations, organize, write well for client documentation, ability to build rapport with our clients and inspire them to build confidence and leadership skills by demonstrating it yourself. Ability to respond appropriately in an emergency or crisis.
