OBJECTIVE

A volunteer’s responsibilities include completing tasks assigned to them in support of George I. Sanchez Charter School’s high standards and values. In addition to assigned tasks, the volunteer is expected to demonstrate professionalism, arrive on time, and follow instructions.

Through a volunteer's impact, students learn responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. These skills are invaluable not only in their academic pursuits but also in their future professional lives. Developing these skills as early as possible is vital for personal growth.

Some of a volunteer's duties might involve monitoring exercises, organizing events, preparing materials, helping with classroom setup, cleaning up after an activity, or working jointly with a volunteer team.

When volunteers are on duty, the district requests that their dress conform to the teacher’s dress code.

IMPORTANT GUIDELINES

All Volunteers will be required to complete a Background Check and Drug Test.

Volunteers will check in at the front desk upon arrival at the school. This record allows the school to know who is in the building.
